Frauscher 1017 LIDO will be unveiled at the Cannes Boat Show 2012

Frauscher’s latest flagship, the Frauscher 1017 LIDO continues the advancement of the Frauscher 1017 motor yacht fleet. The Austrian ship-maker is known for its luxury speedboats ever since its founding in 1927 and now it will premiere it’s latest boat at the Cannes Boat Show from 11th to 16th September.

LIDO’s sister, Frauscher’s 10-meter 1017 GT, was launched earlier this year and it won the European powerboat of the year prize. The 1017 LIDO has been designed by Thomas Gerzer and it inherits the same special lounge feel from its GT sister. Boasting the same 10 meters in length, the luxury boat can reach a top speed of 45-58 knots and it can alsoa ccommodate up to ten people. The flagship features diverse features to maximize the driver’s comfort as well as that of its guests. Some of these features include a bimini canopy for the forward and stern lounge areas that provide protection from excessive sunshine.

The two tables at tre bow area can be lowered and the toilet has been especially designed to be hidden under the center console.
